A rare ironstone ware mid 19th century French tureen sauce pot with handles and a filial by Creil & Montereau. It is hand-painted with the cornflower or Barbeau pattern popularised by Marie-Antoinette. It bears the maker’s mark and is stamped Barbeau, Deposé, Terre de Feu.
