A pair of 19th century hand-coloured steel plate engravings of game birds by William Home Lizars (1788 – 1859), a Scottish painter, engraver and publisher.of London and Edinburgh for Sir William Jardine's The Naturalist’s Library Vol. 3 Gallinaceous Birds, 1834.

Barred-tailed pheasant; Copper pheasant; Diard's pheasant and Golden pheasant

They are presented in double mounts and framed in a decorative black frame with non-reflective glass.  The price is for the pair, but they are availalble individually.
