From a good clearance. Attributed to Malletts of Bond Street, this long narrow coffee table is hand crafted (second half C20TH) and painted specifically to incorporate an original imported C18th oriental chinoiserie decorated panel depicting water lilies and herons. There is surface damage to the panel in the central section, hence the wildly low price. A very worthwhile project given that these tables, rare as they are, can run into many thousands of pounds on the open market.
