Mid century gilt iron low table

French gilt iron, lacquered and red ground beneath. Good finish - rubbed throughout showing the red beneath in places. Very much in the manner of Gilbert Poillerat. It comes with its own original smoked glass top (in good condition with a small not noticeable chip), but I would recommend a clear glass or marble top may suit it better.
