A Pretty 19th C Bevelled Glass Lantern with Kintsugi Repair
From Streett Marburg
A Pretty 19th C Bevelled Glass Lantern with Kintsugi Repair.
This small and attractive glass lantern was purchased with two cracks in the thick bevelled glass. Rather than hide this, it has been enhanced by using a modern take on the ancient Kinstugi technique of using gold leaf to accentuate and celebrate imperfections. Sold with khaki fabric cable and light fitting.
